Original bandsaw fence I built. You had to clamp it in
place, and the clamps were always slipping. Furthermore, I later
discovered that the fence wasn't a true 90 degrees. Hey, it burned well in
the brush fire later....
I got a 25% off coupon for Rockler, so I picked up the Rockler table and fence
kit. Took about an
hour to install, and it seems to work pretty well. The "pre-drill" hole
size for attaching the
miter bar to the bottom of the table is too big, so the screw will strip out.
I seriously considered the
Kreg fence but the Rockler fence came with the table and circle cutting
jig for only $15 more. I also looked at this
fence, but it was just a little too low end.
