I have never ordered from Harbor Freight before, and I was wondering about the quality of their band saws. Thank you for taking the time to put together this site with the info about the band saw!

- Quality control at Harbor Freight is a crap shoot -- sometimes you get a good item,
sometimes you get a dud. The nice thing is that when you get a bad item, you can send it back for
free, and they'll either refund your money or send you a replacement, no questions asked.
I recall a time when I bought one of their butane pencil torches
(similar to
this except that it is a pencil) at the local store. I got
home and filled 'er up. Took away the butane bottle and the torch immediately started leaking butane.
I brought the torch back to HF, and brought my butane bottle along. We must have sat there
and gone through at least 20 of those torches before I found one that didn't leak! (BTW
the pencil torch works great for lighting the wood stove - much better than those cheap
"lighter" style things).

Steve I enjoyed all your info and I like your site set up. I am new at woodworking and at this point I am like a sponge. My first project was a push, pull rack for oven racks. This was the first thing I had ever cut on a saw. I made about 50 of them and gave them away to everybody. Then I started making flowers and painting them ina combination of colors. I ened up selling many people purchased for family graves

Thank you for this site. I have the HF bandsaw and was at a stuck point. Just could nit figure it out. Downloaded you video clip and in less then a minute I back in business. I a picture is worth a thousand words then a video must be worth at least 500 pics.

I found alot of your scroll projects for your family very nice and would be very interested in getting some of the patterns you used in making them. I would be interested in the horse bookends, the eagle, and the wolf. And once again thank you very much for making this a place to go to and look and learn from as well. I am just getting into learning how to do alot of projects for myself and this was a great site.
